Avionics Innovations' DMP-100 And DMP-200 Earn Jetstar 41 STC

Cabin Briefing Systems Certified For Part 25, Part 23 Ops

Avionics Innovations, Inc. tells ANN the company's DMP-100 and DMP-200 cabin briefing systems -- self-contained units that store and play prerecorded audio tracks -- have been certified for installation and use aboard British Aerospace Jetstream 41 regional airliners.

Offering automated cabin briefing capability, both units meet DO-160 environmental testing requirements and feature EMI/RFI shielding to prevent interference with other aircraft systems.

Representatives with Avionics Innovations state the DMP-series is easy to install. The DMP-200 enables operators to prepare flight briefing information in MP3 format on a personal computer and transfer it via a removable Compact Flash memory card. The DMP-200 also supports up to 10,000 different audio tracks and can import playlists from iTunes, WinAmp, MusicMatch and other such applications.

The compact DMP-100 is an MP3 player only. Both units have the capacity for multiple language briefings and can play audio in two languages simultaneously.

Avionics Innovations, Inc., of Ramona, CA designs and manufactures a complete line of video and audio entertainment systems for corporate, airline and general aviation.
