Plastek Intro's Polycarbonate Repair System

EZClear Products Restore, Detail Aircraft Windows

Plastek chose AOPA Expo 2008 this week to introduce its aviation-grade repair system for polycarbonate windows.

The Polycarbonate Window Aviation Repair system follows the launch of the Acrylic Restoration products in August 2008. In addition to exterior restoration systems, Plastek also offers multi-function display cleaning and protection solutions.

"With the addition of polycarbonate repair solutions, Plastek now covers the spectrum of aviation-grade window materials that can be restored," said Gus Ordonez, CEO of Plastek LLC. "Our customer base asked for this product since it provides a savings solution for the aircraft owner in terms of repair time, ownership cost, and life extension."

Recognizing the need for a simpler and more effective repair and restoration solution, the Plastek team focused its efforts on creating a family of "EZClear" core products that restore clarity quicker, more effectively with a proprietary two-step system.

Results from US Army qualification tests show that EZClear restoration brings clarity levels to within 99.7 % of original levels, according to the company.
