Building Up... Enstrom Opens New Repair Station

Repair Station To Operate Within Enstrom’s Menominee, MI Factory

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is celebrating the opening of its brand-new, FAA-approved repair station, number EHCR228E.

The state-of-the-art repair station operates within Enstrom’s Menominee, MI factory. It will provide helicopter maintenance, damage repairs, upgrades, and component overhauls, all at the hands of Enstrom’s premier repair experts.

“This is a significant upgrade to what customers might have experienced before,” said Doug Smith, Enstrom Vice President of Product Support. “We’ve completely refurbished the facility with new equipment, new tooling, new storage, and countless other quality-of-life improvements. It was a huge investment of time and resources, but the results speak for themselves.”

All Enstrom repair station processes are in full compliance with the latest FAA requirements. Enstrom is now seeking approval from the EASA and UK CAA to better service customers in those regions.

Enstrom produces two primary single-engine piston airframes and a turbine single-engine airframe. the original airframes, designed by Rudy Enstrom, date back to his original 1957 tests in a quarry in the Upper Peninsula town of Crystal Falls, Michigan.
