SMA Adds Five STCs To Its Portfolio

SMA (Societe de Motorisations Aeronautiques) tells ANN that it has just obtained the Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for five additional aircraft models.

Issued by EASA on July 7th, the certificate N 00774 is applicable for any Cessna 182 P, M and N and the Reims Cessna F182 P.

This Supplemental Type Certificate also covers the early Q models, in complement
to the initial STC obtained in September 2003.

In parallel with the FAA validation of these certificates, SMA keeps enlarging its scope
of operations. The certification file for the C182 R has already been submitted to the
Authorities and might be delivered by the end of the year.

SMA, a 100% member of SAFRAN group, is specialized in the development, production,
commercialisation and support of piston engines burning Jet A.
