Need A Florida Getaway? LoPresti Plans Its First 'LSA Holiday'

Fly-In, LSA Demos, And Corkey Fornof Around LoPresti's New Hanger In Sebastian, FL

The City of Sebastian is home to a new LSA event that offers three days of aviation and local activities for light sport pilots and the community, alike. LoPresti Aviation will host the first annual 'LSA Holiday!' June 4-6, 2010.

It all kicks off Friday night in LoPresti's new hangar facility adjacent to the Sebastian Airport Administration Building, as colorful Movie/Stunt/Test pilot, J.W. "Corkey" Fornof tells his wild and crazy stories.

Saturday, early morning will begin with LSA flour bombing and other fun aviation competitions. Opening the LoPresti First Saturday charity breakfast event, Skydive Sebastian will demonstrate their jumping skills to the beautiful backdrop of the Sebastian skies and the sound of a steel drum band.
A lineup of knowledgable speakers will present all the ins and outs of LSA. Some of the LSA manufacturers that will have their aircraft on display include: Piper, Remos, Paradise, Evektor, Jabru and SkyKits. LSA seminars and demos will answer the LSA pilot's, and hopeful pilot's, questions. Nature seminars, fly-fishing demonstration, and even massages will be ready for those wanting to indulge further. Continuing into the afternoon, attendees may choose from a range of activities including kayaking (night kayaking too), wave running, golfing, surfing, hot air balloon rides, fishing, boat tours, skeet shooting, skydiving, great restaurants, and an awards dinner overlooking the Indian River Lagoon.

Sebastian Inlet, Florida

The LoPresti event will continue into Sunday for those that stay to relax further. On the last day, coffee and bagels will accompany some great hangar talk and stories.

The 'LSA Holiday!' grew from the desire of LoPresti Aviation, the City of Sebastian, Sebastian Chamber of Commerce, and local businesses to bring recreational aviation to the Sebastian Airport and nearby areas. "When you fly into Sebastian, view the world-known Sebastian Inlet and River, you understand why this is such a special place. This community of gracious people are enthusiastic about aviation. Their involvement and support of this event is going to make this weekend one rockin' holiday.",  says Curt LoPresti, President of LoPresti Aviation. With that in mind, the LoPresti folks invite you to transport yourself to an area of natural beauty that offers the charm of a small fishing village and small, welcoming airport.
