Mid-Continent Named Trig Avionics Exclusive U.S. Service Center

Will Service Transponders And Comm Radios For The Scottish Company

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics has been named the exclusive U.S. Service Center for Trig Avionics, serving Trig customers in all of North America. The agreement further expands Mid-Continent’s avionics capabilities to include Trigs’ TT21, TT22, and TT31 transponders, TY91 and TY92 VHF Comm radios. Trig Avionics, located in Edinburgh, Scotland, joins a respected network of avionics and equipment manufacturers, such as Kannad, Honeywell Bendix/King and United Instruments who have selected Mid-Continent to service their products.

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics was selected due to the company’s technical expertise, superior quality and quick turnaround service. In preparation, Andy Campbell, Trig Avionics field support engineer, conducted product training at Mid-Continent’s facility. The training process consisted of classroom instruction and hands-on training in the areas of test, teardown, rebuild and fault diagnosis.

“As we expand in the U.S. it’s vital that we continue to provide our customers with the best after sales support. We’ve established a new partnership with Mid-Continent Instrument and Avionics; from today they will provide full Trig technical support and repair capabilities. Both Trig and Mid-Continent share the same commitment to provide a first class service to every Trig customer.”

There are now 75 Approved Trig Dealers in the U.S. all offering Trig’s popular TT31, TT21 and TT22 series of ADS-B capable 1090ES transponders. Joining the Trig range are new compact VHF radios, the TY91 and TY92.
