Bombardier Wichita Service Center Added To Rolls-Royce Service Network

Authorization Enables Wichita Service Center To Perform Maintenance On BR710 Engines

Bombardier Business Aircraft's wholly-owned Wichita Service Center has received Rolls-Royce certification and is now a part of the Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Center Network (ASC). This authorization enables the Wichita Service Center to perform maintenance on BR710 engines installed on Bombardier Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000 and Global 6000 aircraft.

All of Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centers are now Rolls-Royce authorized, enabling Bombardier and Rolls-Royce to jointly provide seamless support to CorporateCare(R) customers. Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centers and Bombardier operators are provided with direct access to Rolls-Royce technical service representatives, as well as Rolls-Royce's myaeroengine.com portal for support and technical troubleshooting.

"Expanding our worldwide network's support capabilities is one of our top priorities, and is integral to our delivery of an amazing customer experience. Our goal is to provide operators with the ability to receive the best maintenance whenever and wherever they need it," said Stan Younger, Vice President, Aircraft Service Centers, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "Partnering with Rolls-Royce helps us offer our customers the fastest and highest quality service on every major aircraft component during their visit at our Wichita site."

"We have a long and successful relationship with Bombardier Business Aircraft and are pleased to welcome the Wichita Service Center to our Authorized Service Center Network. Together, this network is trusted to deliver the excellent maintenance support that our CorporateCare customers deserve," said Andrew M. Robinson, Senior Vice President, Services and Customer Support, Rolls-Royce.

Wichita's dedicated Service Center staff of nearly 250 is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as interior modifications, avionics installations and provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft. In April, the facility expanded with an addition of 38,000 square feet of hangar space, bringing its total square footage to 113,000 and enabling the facility to service more aircraft, including Global aircraft. The Service Center has received certifications from the FAA, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), EASA, Bermuda, Mexico and Venezuela. The Center is also authorized by General Electric, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins and now Rolls-Royce.
