Source: Richard Newman, whose six-year-old daughter, Carli, has battled cancer for the past two years. Along with a group of fellow Seattle-area pilots, Newman has founded the "Children's Air Corps," combining a love of aviation with an equally strong desire to help children meet the biggest challenge of their lives, by raising funds for Children's Hospital Cancer Research.
