Airborne 01.31.14: Hoover Tribute, New Enstrom Boss, Airborne Schedule Upgrade!!

Also: Sikorsky Sale?, Sebring Synopsis, F-35B Software glitch, Boeing Sued Over Asiana Accident, ANN Readies For AEA 2014!

We here at ANN are pleased to inform our viewers that on February 21, the legacy of Robert A. "Bob" Hoover will be recognized as the aviation community gathers to honor Bob's long, successful flying career.

Jerry Mullins, the current president and CEO of Enstrom Helicopters, has announced his retirement to be effective today. A veteran in the aviation industry for 40 years, Mullins says, “It’s been a great run. Part of me will always be connected to the helicopter industry.” We are picking up rumors that something may change at Sikorsky. Corporate giant United Technologies (UTC) may be looking to divest itself of Sikorsky, or at least change its relationship with the helicopter maker. After 200 highly acclaimed episodes and a programming model that has been copied by many, and equaled by none, we are proud to announce that Airborne will undergo a schedule upgrade and be seen each Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting right away -- next week! All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
