Aero-TV: ANN At Oshkosh 2011 -- And So It Begins

A Bright Look At the World of Oshkosh, First Day

The first day of Oshkosh did something we haven't associated with Oshkosh in a while... it was a beautiful day without a care in the world.

That start of the 2011 EAA Fly-In beat the odds and left behind the horrid temps and storms of the week before and dawned bright and clear and about as VFR as it gets. Yeah, we loved it... and so did so many others here in the holy land of Oshkosh. ANN's Aero-TV teams scoured the area... looked for those sights and sounds that bespoke the true spirit of Wittman Field and are presenting the evidence of their efforts -- in front of God and everybody.

The seven day event is expected to draw near-record (if not record) crowds and the upcoming events surrounding the honoring of Bob Hoover, Burt Rutan, and the arrival of the 787 Dreamliner are sure to keep the arrival traffic at a fever pitch. We hope you're here... and if so, that you're having as much fun as we are.
