Stallion 51 Pilot From Florida Inducted Into EAA Warbird Hall Of Fame

Lee Lauderbuck Is President And Founder Of The Company Located At Kissimmee Gateway Airport

Lee Lauderback of Stallion 51 located at Kissimmee Gateway Airport in central Florida has been inducted into the EAA Warbird Hall of Fame.

Lauderback, who has been flying since 1966, is President, CEO and founder of Stallion 51 Corporation located at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. Stallion 51 is regarded as the world leader in Mustang flights and training, and Lauderback has been the chief flight instructor since Stallion 51’s inception, amassing over 20,000 flight hours in all types of aircraft including over 9,000 hours in the Mustang. He is the highest time Mustang pilot in the World and is one of the pilots for the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight Program. His expertise and vast experience in both the corporate and private aviation has earned him the distinction of being an FAA Examiner and he is often called upon to flight test various Vintage planes, helicopters and Turbojets before they are accepted.

Currently, when not instructing at Stallion 51 flight operations, Lee is seen at air shows performing his signature solo Mustang routine or participating in the USAF Heritage Flight program as civilian lead in the Mustang. The USAF Heritage Flight program showcases historic WWII military aircraft as well as the current USAF military aircraft in a unique formation flight. Lee also instructs for the Navy Test Pilot School at Patuxent River, Maryland.

The EAA Sport Aviation Hall of Fame was established to honor the outstanding achievements of men and women who share the spirit of EAA's founder: a passion for the freedom that flight offers. Those inducted into the Hall of Fame are selected by their peers for the myriad of contributions made to their particular realm of flight - and aviation as a whole.

Each year, EAA welcomes and honors five new members to its Sport Aviation Hall of Fame. Representing Homebuilders, Warbirds of America, International Aerobatic Club, Vintage Aircraft Association and Ultralights, these inductees capture the spirit of EAA and its community.
