Jet Aviation Adds First Airbus ACJ318 To Its U.S. Managed Fleet

First Such Aircraft Available For Charter In The U.S.

Jet Aviation Flight Services is adding its first Airbus ACJ318 registered in the U.S. under a Part 91 operation. The ACJ318, which will be managed by Jet Aviation Flight Services’ West Coast team, will be added to Jet Aviation Flight Services Part 135 air carrier certificate early next year which will make it the first Airbus ACJ318 available for charter in the U.S.

The ACJ318 has accommodations for up to 18 passengers. The aircraft’s wide-body cabin is outfitted with a corporate VIP interior including leather seating and an exceptional entertainment system with multiple televisions throughout the cabin. The ACJ318 has a range of up to 4,200 nautical miles and can travel up to 560 mph.

“We are thrilled to be adding the ACJ318 to our managed charter fleet. It is a huge benefit to our customers to have access to a wide-body cabin jet when travelling long distances,” said Don Haloburdo, vice president and general manager Jet Aviation Flight Services. “Our team works diligently to expand our aircraft management and charter fleets to meet our customer needs.”

“We are focused on finding new ways to serve our customers. We have been adding aircraft to our managed charter fleet over the course of the year, and we are excited to provide clients more options,” said Jon Winthrop, vice president and managing director of Jet Aviation Flight Services Western Region / Asia-Pacific office based in Van Nuys, CA.

The company also recently announced the delivery in October of the first Airbus ACJ319 equipped with 'Sharklet' wingtip devices to a private customer.
