Aero-TV: No Longer A Top Secret - One Aviation Unveils Project ‘Canada‘

The Engine And Airframe Changes Made To The Eclipse Allow More Flexibility...

While at EAA AirVenture 2016, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, took advantage of one of the really nice days to search out Alan Klapmeier, the CEO of One Aviation. Jim wanted to talk about the latest variation of their Eclipse aircraft which, for the time being, is being referred to as ‘Canada’.

Just the name ‘Eclipse’ is exciting because of its unique position in the field of personal jets, and now more is on the way. Since One Aviation came into being, the Eclipse has been improved, and the service provided to owners is unique in the business. Now, the original design is being revised to allow more speed, payload, and range.

When asked about the advantages the ‘Canada’ provides, Klapmeier replies that it allows greater flexibility. During the video he goes into details about how it permits more payload at the same range of the existing eclipse, or greater range with the same payload. He also goes into the performance advantages provided by the new engines at high-altitude and hot weather. To get the real details, watch the video.

One Aviation is an innovative company, and their new ‘Canada’ is an example of that innovation.
