Boeing And Employees Pledge $70,000 For St. Louis Emergency Relief

Supporting Cleanup And Red Cross Efforts Following April 22 Tornado

Boeing and its employees will contribute $70,000 to the American Red Cross for its relief efforts in St. Louis following the damage caused by a tornado April 22.

The company announced Monday it will contribute $50,000 and the St. Louis Employees Community Fund will contribute $20,000 to the American Red Cross for its relief efforts. Boeing directly employs more than 15,000 people in the St. Louis region.

"We know that it will take time for the families and business people who lost their homes and livelihoods to rebuild and recover," said Dennis Muilenburg, president and CEO, Boeing, Defense, Space & Security. "We have many strong partnerships and relationships in the St. Louis region, so I know that the company and our employees will do all that we can to help with the recovery efforts."
