NetJets Pilots Ratify Contract

NetJets Aviation (NJA) tells ANN that NetJets pilots have accepted the tentative labor agreement signed on October 8, 2005. The agreement, which was endorsed by an overwhelming 84 percent of the pilots, calls for improved wages, job security and increased productivity and details a mutual commitment to a labor partnership that will support NetJets' service commitment to owners.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters through the Airline Division, Local 1108 represents NetJets pilots, who number more than 2,000. The ballot produced a record turnout with 91 percent of ballots returned and 1,924 valid votes cast.

"I am delighted that our pilots have endorsed this agreement so enthusiastically," said Bill Boisture, NetJets Aviation president.

"It is a fair agreement, it recognizes the important role that our pilots play and positions the company to continue to lead the fractional jet industry in the future. Our owners will continue to receive the finest service from the most qualified flight crews in the industry."

Mr. Boisture was joined by Bill Olsen, a NetJets captain and president of the executive board of Local 1108, to announce the ratification of the new agreement.

Mr. Olsen said, "The new pilot contract has taken what was a flying job and turned it into a career opportunity. I believe the new pilot contract serves the best interests of NetJets owners and customers, shareholders, and pilots.

"We need to maintain a symbiotic business relationship where we must always look out for one another's best interests in order for it to succeed."

The contract, which commenced on November 21, 2005 becomes amendable in 2010. The ratification of the pilots' contract follows the completion of a similar agreement between NetJets Aviation and its flight attendants.

NetJets Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of NetJets Inc. The operations center is located in Columbus, Ohio. All aircraft offered fractionally in the United States, with the exception of the Gulfstream large cabin and BBJ fleets, are operated by NetJets Aviation.
