Guardian Tracking Devices Receive Canadian STC

System Installed In Some Eurocopter Models

Wondering where your helicopter might be? Guardian Mobility ways its 3i and 3x tracking devices have been granted Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval by Transport Canada for installation in Eurocopter AS350 and 355 model aircraft.

Guardian GPS tracking devices are used by hundreds of aircraft operators to report on the status and location of their aircraft. This latest regulatory approval offers fleet owners with Eurocopter AS350 and AS355 models to effortlessly answer the questions: "Where is my helicopter? Where did it fly today?"

Four Seasons Aviation, a charter operator based in Toronto, is among the customers using the devices to track its aircraft.

"Our high-profile clientele, appreciate that we take their safety and security seriously," said Anna Rucchetto, CEO of Four Seasons. "It demonstrates our attitude to customer service. Whether we're flying remote film work or picking up a business executive at a remote lakefront property, it is a huge benefit to be able to say -- and to show -- where the aircraft is, at that instant."

David Tommasini, Four Seasons owner and president, added: "In the future, every charter operator is going to have to offer tracking on its aircraft. Guardian made it simple for us to get started quickly. We were able to install and set up the devices ourselves. We have been so impressed that we are recommending Guardian to private owners we work with as well."
