New Insurance Option Available For Sonex Aircraft

First Flight Insurance Group Approves Coverage For Several Models

Sonex Aircraft is pleased to announce that First Flight Insurance Group has approved Sonex, Waiex and Onex aircraft models for their USUA Insurance Program.

The USUA insurance program offers 3rd party liability insurance and accepts orientation flight time in-type with regular pilots (no requirement for flight time with a CFI), or time in similar handling aircraft. The program has an affordable fixed annual premium, there is no charge for a second pilot on the policy, and no charge for adding additional insured landowners.

First Flight Insurance Group's USUA program is a great option to serve many of our customers’ insurance needs in our most-popular aircraft models, especially during Phase I of kit aircraft operating limitations.

First Flight Insurance Group established their USUA insurance program in 2002 for ultralight and light aircraft including those complying with the European Microlight regulations (prior to the establishment of Sport Pilot in the United States). Sonex Aircraft were also designed to European Microlight standards before Sport Pilot came into existence, making the USUA insurance program from First Flight Insurance Group a great option for Sonex Aircraft customers.
