Sonex Announces New, Improved Website

Features Builder Search, Online Shopping

In addition to celebrating the recent first flight of an owner-built Y-tailed Waiex sportplane, representatives with Sonex Aircraft, LLC told Aero-News this week the company has also launched its new, vastly upgraded web presence and the new online Sonex Web Store.

The new site, www.SonexAircraft.com, represents a big leap in quality and ease-of-use from the former Sonex-ltd.com web site, and represents over 16 months of development and planning.

In addition to being easier to navigate around, the new site also includes a searchable Builder Database -- allowing Sonex Aircraft builders to log-in and administer their own project information, as well as find other builders in their area to compare notes with and trade ideas.

"We expect that the feature-packed SonexAircraft.com will become a valuable customer service tool and will further add to the efficiency of the Sonex business model," said Sonex Aircraft, LLC General Manager and CEO Jeremy Monnett.

Sonex Aircraft provides a series of Sport Pilot eligible kit aircraft -- the Sonex and Waiex sportplanes, and the Xenos sport motorglider -- as well as the AeroConversions line of products which include the AeroVee engine, AeroCarb and ancillary aviation products.
