A Special Note From ANN To Our Friends/Readers

Hi Folks...

This is a special issue of the Propwash newsletter, dedicated only to its being a personal message from the ANN gang to you. I promise not to do this too often, but hope that I can impose on you for a few minutes in order to seek your continued support. We'd like to make one more pitch for book orders as we await the receipt of the first run early THIS week (YAY!). Thanks to YOU and the overwhelming purchase support you offered, we were able to upgrade our print order and commit to a larger run, making unit costs MUCH more efficient... but the fact of the matter is that we still have to SELL the critters! We DO have some uncommitted quantities of the FIRST-RUN Premium Edition (but not much, thank God) and as we get ready to pick up our first print run and pay a big whopping print bill (OUCH!), we'd like to check back and see if we can get those of you who have not ordered yet (and you KNOW who you are--grin) to send in your Premium Edition (or regular edition... we're not THAT greedy) order and get yourself a copy of a book that we're already VERY proud of.

As you may know, ANN and its staff and management, have been through hell the last few years while trying to get you solid, HONEST, insightful editorial ... and the process has, at times, been more than brutal. It's become obvious that we need to be more aggressive, bolder, and more innovative if we are going to continue to be of serious benefit to aviation... and to improve our efforts in a way that can forestall the serious problems that aviation faces.

But building up a company in this day and age takes LOTS of resources... and rather than hold out our hand and ask for outright contributions (like a number of the alphabet associations), we have produced a number of exciting products that we hope you'll want, enough to purchase, and thereby help us EARN and BUILD an even more powerful and useful ANN. Our first round of offers, last week, really helped us A LOT and we're hoping that there are still many of you, out there, who might want to get your hands on one of the most exciting projects we've undertaken yet.

We're particularly excited about the upcoming availability of "Beyond The Blue" -- now just a few DAYS away from its ship date. Beyond The Blue is the result of over 16,000 high-resolution photos, thousands of pages of notes, hundreds of published stories, some iconic pictures that were seen all over the world (with many hundreds more that hadn’t yet been published – until NOW)… all carefully reviewed, selected, organized, designed and brought together in an expertly designed, bright, heavily illustrated 168 page, 4-color book, that includes a stirring Foreword by XPRIZE Founder Peter Diamandis, who admits that his detailed contribution is… “the first time that I’m actually getting to tell the story of the founding of XPRIZE and the creation of the Ansari XPRIZE.”

Scheduled for shipment in just a few days, we urge you to order your copy NOW and help us build a healthy advance order book so that we can pare our in-house costs down as cost-effectively as possible.

There are TWO offers we'd like to make to you about "Beyond The Blue"...

You can order a copy for shipping as soon as they come off press for $39.95 (plus $10 S/H -- Priority mail where applicable) and have the books in your hands in a matter of weeks by clicking here and submitting your order.

OR... if you want to get some thing REALLY special, you can order the Premier Edition for $100 -- which gets you a signed, numbered and certificated copy with a Certificate of Authenticity, a custom box, one of the first copies off the press (again, signed and numbered)... and the possibility of being one of the "Lucky 100" (selected at random) that will get additional autographs from some of the many historical players that made the amazing XPRIZE revolution come about.

Please give some thought to supporting our efforts... and taking advantage of these offers... and as an additional incentive, if you use the coupon code "AEROREADER", you'll save 10 per cent off your order (Sorry -- only one discount per order).

Please take a look at our book partner web site, www.kindredspirit.com, as well as at some of our other offerings... including Jim Campbell's book on the FAA v Bob Hoover debacle, "Air of Injustice" and the very funny Klyde Morris cartoon compendium.

We hope you'll give some thought to supporting our continued efforts to be of lasting value to the aviation world and that you find these products to be worthy of our interest and your purchase. THANKS for your time, attention, and (hopefully), your orders!

FMI: www.kindredspirit.com, Beyond The Blue (Standard Edition), Beyond The Blue (Premier Edition), Air Of Injustice, Klyde Morris
