AUVSI To Host Webinar On Drone Laws And Safe Practices

Legal Experts Will Discuss The Laws And Safe Practices For Commercial Drone Operations

AUVSI will host a webinar to discuss the laws and safe practices for commercial drone operations. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 at 3 p.m. EDT.

Three years after the introduction of Part 107, the economic and strategic capabilities of drones have been well established. With drones becoming more common in the airspace and more widely accepted by the public, there is a growing need to prioritize safety and responsible flying.

“Flying Like a Pro: Knowing the Law and Maintaining Safe Practices,” which is sponsored by Perkins Coie, will outline the rules guiding commercial drone flight and best practices for safe operations. Featured as a speaker is Ben Synder, Business Development Manager, Consortiq. The webinar will also include a tutorial about adhering to Part 107 and maintaining airmanship principles.

Commercial drone operators, drone manufacturers and investors in unmanned technology are encouraged to attend the webinar.

Registration for the webinar is complimentary for all attendees. Registration will close on Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. EDT.
