SpaceX founder Elon Musk has unveiled the prototype of its Starship spacecraft that he hopes will be carrying people into space next year and eventually carry colonists to Mars.

The spacecraft was unveiled at a celebration marking the 11th anniversary of the first launch of the Falcon 1, which happened September 28th, 2008. The Starship is designed to carry up to 100 people to destinations such as the moon or Mars, and will carry Japanese billionaire entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa and a handful of artists on a trip around the moon in the 2020s, if all goes according to plan. Continental has announced that long-time Chief Executive Officer and president Rhett Ross plans to retire. Over the past 12 years, Ross has guided Continental through a recession, the sale to AVIC International Holding Corporation, and Continental’s listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He led Continental in five successful acquisitions to add technology and additional product lines valued in excess of $40 million. Ross most recently championed the $75 million construction of Continental’s new manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama. Col. G assumed command of the squadron last week. Now 35 years old, she enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in 2003.
