Pentastar Aviation Announces New Chief Pilot

Kip Catlin Brings DO And GM Experience From Part 135 Operation

Kip Catlin has joined Pentastar Aviation as Chief Pilot for the organization. With over 12,500 flight hours, Catlin was most recently a captain at Northern Jet Management, flying Citation Bravo and Lear 40/45 aircraft.

"His vast experience in all aspects of commercial aviation will extend our proud heritage of uncompromising safety and customer-focused service. Given the breadth of Pentastar's flight operations, Kip's experience in Parts 91, 121 and 135 make him the perfect fit to ensure our continued compliance and industry leadership."

Catlin's experience includes assignments as a corporate pilot, airline captain, charter pilot and Director of Operations and General Manager of an on demand air charter operation in northern Michigan. In his new position, he is responsible for overseeing the activities of roughly 60 crewmembers.

Pentastar Aviation provides aircraft maintenance, aircraft management services, aviation advisors, avionics design/installation/repair and aircraft charter through Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc.
