The app is available for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, tapping into a wider spectrum of tablets & phones than competing electronic flight bags. The revamped iFLY app now provides support for aircraft weight and balance, allowing quick, on-the-fly calculations for a given aircraft's envelope.

With the updates, the iFly EFB stands as one of the more cost-competitive options to bigger, more corporate applications - a basic buy-in for VFR charts and EFB service tips the wallet scales at only $79.99 per year, with a $49.99 add-on for IFR charts, plates, and support. For additional devices, a $24.99 upcharge will double the number of active platforms from the standard 2 to 4 in all.
