Instructor Began His Aviation Career In 2001
Eric Lynn has been named Flight School Manager and Chief Flight Instructor of their growing Flight Training Department by Galvin Flying Services in Seattle, WA. “Eric comes to Galvin with impressive credentials and extensive Part 141 and 61 Flight Training Experience,” says Skip Moshner, Director of Flight Operations for Galvin. “We are confident his broad experience and leadership will continue Galvin Flying Services’ long tradition of leadership in the field of flight training.”
After graduating with honors from North Idaho College in Coeur d’ Alene, Mr. Lynn began his career in aviation in 2001 at Northwest Aviation College, earning multiple pilot ratings and later holding the dual roles of Flight Instructor and Line Services Manager. By 2006, he joined Part 121 operator Horizon Air as a First Officer flying the Dash 8-Q200 and Q400 series. Four years later, in 2010, Mr. Lynn returned to his roots at Northwest Aviation College to lead the school’s then-growing Part 141 and VA Training Program as Director of Flight Operations. “I am enormously proud to lead Galvin’s Flight Training Department,” says Eric Lynn. “Years ago, Galvin made a leadership move to embrace the Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) concept when the ‘glass cockpit’ entered the flight training marketplace. Since that time, they have become one of only two centers in the US approved for training of new FAA Aviation Safety Inspectors. Add to that Galvin’s
recent partnership with Green River Community College to provide flight training for Veteran’s Administration (VA) Students and it is clear Galvin is poised for growth.”
Galvin Flying Services’ Flight Training Department specializes in flight training programs for Private Pilots through Advanced Commercial/CFII Multi-Engine ratings. Proud to be one of only two centers in the US for training new FAA Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI), Galvin has trained more than 300 ASIs in courses for Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), Light Twin Refresher (LTR), and ASI Indoctrination in TAA. Galvin is also an authorized flight training provider for Veteran’s Administration (VA) Students.
