Incorporating the equivalent of a four-inch screen in a
three-inch instrument, the SN3500 improves situational awareness by
presenting compass, map, flight plan and RMI data in a bright,
crisp, easy-to-read format. Now with LED backlighting, our SN3500
is a proven and reliable upgrade. And as a drop-in replacement for
your current 3-inch HSI, the SN3500 is both an easy and affordable
retrofit.
The new SN4500 4x4 Primary Navigation Display is a bigger cousin
to the SN3500 and upgrades the cockpit with the bright, wide-angle
display technology found in the latest generation of aircraft.
Boasting a high-reliability LED backlight, the SN4500's display
outperforms CRT and LCD screens, yielding unprecedented readability
and ease of use. Simplifying navigation, the SN4500 also enhances
safety with its standard Stormscope, traffic, and datalink weather
interfaces.
For both these units, Sandel has introduced a 'Reversionary
Attitude' for the SN3500 and SN4500 Primary Navigation Displays.
With this new safety feature, you can call up an attitude display
on the SN3500/SN4500 at the flip of a switch while retaining
heading and navigational information. Attitude information is
provided by Sandel’s solid-state SG102 AHRS.
Reversionary Attitude has been available since as a software
upgrade option for a few months and requires a Sandel SG102 AHRS.
SN3500 units with serial number below 2000 will require an upgrade
to LED backlighting.
