Hired As King Air Pilot In November 2007
Executive AirShare, a Kansas City,
MO-based fractional aircraft ownership company, announced Wednesday
that Chris Morris has been promoted to the position of director of
safety. Morris is responsible for overseeing the company's safety
management systems and emergency response plan, and will report to
Executive AirShare Director of Operations Adam Letts.
Morris has been a pilot with Executive AirShare since November
2007 and is PIC qualified in the King Air C90B and Super King Air
350 aircraft. He will continue to serve as a line pilot while
working closely with Executive AirShare's chief pilots and director
of training and compliance in his new role. He holds a Master's
Degree in Aviation Safety from the University of Central
Missouri.
"Over the past 24 months, Executive AirShare's flight department
has doubled in size and we have dramatically increased our
maintenance staff to ensure the highest levels of safety and
service for our owners," said Executive AirShare President and
Chief Operating Officer Keith D. Plumb. "Chris' experience and
education uniquely qualify him to oversee our safety and emergency
management programs well into the future."
In addition to its current fleet of 15 aircraft, Executive
AirShare holds firm orders for 44 Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft, with
deliveries scheduled to begin in Spring 2009, with options on 12
additional Phenom 100 aircraft. The company also holds six firm
orders and four options for Phenom 300 light jet aircraft, making
Executive AirShare the only established fractional aircraft
ownership company to offer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircraft.
"Safety is our number-one priority," said Executive AirShare
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Taylor. "We have
taken steps to ensure that we maintain a safety-conscious corporate
culture as we expand our operations utilizing Phenom aircraft and
opening new markets."
Founded in 2001, Executive AirShare operates a fleet of
late-model jet and turboprop aircraft serving owners throughout the
Central United States.
