New Products and Technology Introduced Throughout the Exhibit Hall

More than 2,900 commercial drone professionals and providers of drone technology met at the San Jose Convention Center this week for the 3rd Annual Drone World Expo.  One of the keynote discussions focused on "From Packages to Passengers: How Drones are Transforming Transportation".

Before the keynote presentation the Commercial Drone Alliance presented the inaugural "Industry Heroes" Award to Justin Adams of Kovar and Associates // CRASAR for Drones for Good Innovator of the Year and Dyan Gibbens of Trumbull Unmanned as the Woman Innovator of The Year. Yesterday the End User Innovator of The Year was presented to Mark Bathrick, of the U.S. Department of The Interior.

Commercial Drone attendees watched the new DJI Drone flying in the demo cage on the show floor. Other companies who presented in the Tech Talk Theaters included SKYF, Lockheed Martin, Intel, Perkins Coie, Alta Devices, Sabrewing Aircraft, Pond5, AeroVironment, Maynard Cooper & Gale, Berliner Corcoran & Rowe LLP, Blue Marble Geographics, Synergy UAS, Unmanned Safety Institute, Skyefish, SOAR Oregon, Paris Geospatial, xCraft, Fruity Chutes, vHive, Cisco, SimActive and MAPIR.
