Aero-TV: Russ Demaray’s Simple Decision-A Beautiful AuRacle CRM2120-Equipped B55

In The Air With The AuRacle CRM 2120 and An Extraordinary Baron

This time ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief Jim Campbell shows how to get an interview done the right way.

When Jim wanted to know how Russ Demaray decided to purchase the Ultra Electronics AuRacle CRM 2120 twin-engine management system for his Baron, he started off by taking a ride with Demary in his beautiful B55.

After landing, Jim asked Russ to explain his choice of the engine management systems. Demaray said it was an easy choice because the AuRacle CRM 2120 is designed with the Beechcraft in mind. He liked the way the display was designed to be placed directly above the throttle quadrant, and it includes all engine indications.

The old “steam gauge” style engine instruments are replaced with digital instruments that have greater accuracy and more information. The display is logical and allows trends to be easily followed. In this video you’ll see the real thing in operation followed by a clear explanation as to how it works.
