ironically telling ANN his whereabouts on June 12, as the company's
Bend, OR production facility was being pelted by a freak hailstorm.
Lantis was in Atlanta -- in the offices of Columbia's primary
insurance underwriter, AIG -- when the storm hit Bend, causing
golfball-sized hail to rain down for 12 minutes... damaging the
finishes on more than 60 planes awaiting delivery outside the
plant.
