Featuring All-New Tear-Out Avionics Troubleshooting Guide
It's been called the best freebie at
Oshkosh (by ANN, noless) and it gets bigger and better each time,
adding new features to its 2005-2006 edition. This year's Pilot's
Guide to Avionics adds a tear-out Avionics Troubleshooting Guide,
an in-depth Terrain and Traffic buyer's guide, a complete product
manufacturer list, and an updated avionics glossary. The
"consumer's guide to avionics" also covers the spectrum in
aviation's hot topics; from datalink technology and requirements
for international flight to Light Sport Aviation and maintenance of
experimental aircraft.
Published by the Aircraft Electronics Association, the Pilot's
Guide to Avionics is a comprehensive four-color guide that features
articles aimed to help pilots and aircraft owners make better
avionics buying decisions. Included in this free guide is a
directory of government-certified avionics and instrument shops to
help pilots locate the trained experts for equipment sales,
installation and service.
The Pilot's Guide to Avionics will be available at booths
#2035– 2036 in Hangar B at EAA's AirVenture. The Guide will
also be distributed at NBAA's Annual Meeting and Convention, AOPA
Expo, International Women in Aviation Conference, AEA's Annual
Convention and Trade Show, and AEA's Regional Meetings.
The Aircraft Electronics Association represents nearly 1,200
aviation businesses, including repair stations that specialize in
maintenance, repair and installation of avionics and electronic
systems in general aviation aircraft. AEA membership also includes
instrument facilities, manufacturers of avionics equipment,
instrument manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, test equipment
manufacturers, major distributors, and educational
institutions.
