Quality Lights for Cockpit, Toolbox, Inspection Station

Big / Little Pair of 'Lifetime' LEDs Can Even Check Inside Cylinders

Approach Aviation, the folks with the splendid Educated Owner series of owner/pilot "self-help" videos, is releasing their new, LED Micro-Flex and LED Mega-Flex Lights for aircraft owners and pilots at the AOPA Convention. These new super-bright flexible lights are perfect for a hundred different tasks in cockpit illumination and aircraft maintenance. Their small head size coupled with strong yet flexible necks, allows them to be used for many specialized applications including cylinder illumination through spark plug holes.

The LED Micro-Flex Light is 6" long -- small enough to clip anywhere, and put the light where you need it. For cockpit use, it can clip to shirt pocket or headset. For maintenance use, it can clip to any available location, to shine a powerful light in cramped quarters.

The LED Mega-Flex Light (right) is 19 1/2” long and contains a lens-focused beam to provide powerful, clear light in critical locations. The beam head is small enough to fit through the spark plug hole in most aircraft cylinders for inspection purposes. It can also be an excellent addition to borescope applications, adding light where it is needed most.

Top quality construction for reliability when you need it:

Designed and engineered in Germany, the LED Micro-Flex and LED Mega-Flex lights utilize the power of opto-electronic technology with High Intensity LED-"Light-Emitting Diodes" for a super-bright light that can be used for up to 100 hours of light without a battery change. They feature stainless steel exteriors and focused lens power beams; and they are shock proof, water resistant and cold burning. Batteries are included and replacement batteries can be found at any photo shop, or electronics store.

"The new LED Micro-Flex (right) and LED Mega-Flex lights are an excellent addition to any pilot's flight bag. Whether you are looking for that dropped screw, or just looking to read those charts better, these lights make the job that much easier!," said Jeff Simon, President of Approach Aviation.

Introductory Retail price for the new LED Micro-Flex Light is $24.95 and the new LED Mega-Flex Light is $39.95. Both lights come in attractive gift boxes and batteries are included.
