Cirrus Names David Glorius New Senior VP Of Sales

Comes To Duluth, MN Planemaker From Chrysler

Cirrus Design announced Wednesday it has appointed David Glorius as Senior Vice President, Sales.

With extensive experience in marketing, sales and business development, Glorius will play a major role in sustaining the planemaker's sales momentum in the domestic market as well as focus on Cirrus’ continued international expansion by helping grow the brand and sales worldwide. 

"We are extremely fortunate to have David as part of the Cirrus Senior Management Team," said Cirrus CEO Alan Klapmeier. "I am confident his knowledge and expertise both in North America and abroad, will provide clear direction and growth for our sales force."

Prior to his tenure at Cirrus, Glorius served in various capacities with Daimler Chrysler Canada, Daimler Chrysler International, and Chrysler Corporation. His most recent assignments with the company were Senior Manager, Business Development and Retail Strategies, and as Vice President, Daimler Chrysler Middle East, located in Dubai.

Glorius’ professional experience with Daimler Chrysler included several positions including Senior Operations Management in the Canadian organization, and Advertising and Market Research Specialist in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America; and Marketing Manager, Middle and Near East, gives him the global market knowledge to help drive Cirrus’ growth in general aviation and beyond.
