Pan Am International Flight Training Center - Thailand Ready For Students

Latest Location In Bangkok Opened In Conjunction With ANA, Nok Air, Assumption University

Pan Am International Flight Training Center, together with All Nippon Airways, Nok Air, and Assumption University, announced today the grand opening of a new world-class flight training center located on Assumption's Suvarnabhumi Campus in Bangkok, Thailand.

Pan Am International Flight Training Center – Thailand will serve the training needs of individuals, airlines and countries in the Asia Pacific Region and will help meet the ever-increasing demand for qualified pilots there.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and tour was held in conjunction with the Asian Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) recently concluded. Mr. Gary Anderson, CEO for Pan Am International Flight Training Center -Thailand welcomed the 200-plus dignitaries and guests including Assumption University's President, Rev. Bro. Banta Saenghiran, Ph.D. and representatives from All Nippon Airways and Nok Air.

"Pan Am's commitment to this region is demonstrated in the opening of this training center …" states Mr. Anderson. "We believe it to be a perfect location for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the partnerships and interest this is generating."

The training center is taking immediate booking on the Airbus 320 Level-D full-motion flight simulator, and will be installing a Boeing 737-NG Level-D simulator in the first quarter of 2015, soon followed by two additional full-motion simulators in 2016. The center also houses classrooms, conference rooms, briefing rooms, and an Airbus 320 Multi-Functional Training Device (MFTD) for systems and procedural protocol training.

In addition to the new Bangkok training center, Pan Am has training centers in Tokyo, the U.S. and Europe.
