Alteon Adds Sims In Atlanta and Miami

Alteon Training (Alteon) received FAA Level "C" certification for two full flight simulators recently installed in its Atlanta and Miami locations.

The Miami Training Center has received FAA Level "C" certification on an A320-200 full-flight simulator. Alteon now has a total of four A320 full-flight located throughout the world.

The Atlanta Training Center has received FAA Level "C" certification on a Boeing 737-300/400/500 full-flight simulator with a Flight Dynamics 2300 Head-up Display. Alteon has a total of 10 Boeing 737-300/400/500 full-flight simulators at several locations worldwide.

"Our increased capability will support the growing demand we are seeing from our customers in both North and South America for training solutions closer to their operations," said John Alexander, regional vice president for Americas.

These additions enhance Alteon's training centers in North America. Expansion plans exercised over the last year have added Buenos Aires and Brisbane and increased capacity at many other locations. "Alteon will continue to look for opportunities to partner with the world's airlines for strategic and effective training solutions," said Pat Gaines, president. "We expect our pace to increase in 2005 as the industry gains momentum."
