Sandel Receives ETSOs for TAWS and EHSI Systems

Recently granted EASA approvals confirm that Sandel's ST3400 and SN3500 units meet all standards for installation and use in Europe.

Sandel Avionics has received European Technical Standard Order (ETSO) authorizations from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its ST3400 TAWS (IM.210.441) and SN3500 EHSI (IM.210.442) systems, ensuring that both units have successfully met EASA's standards for use throughout the European Union. Similar to the U.S. FAA TSO, which both systems had already received, the ETSOs confirm that avionics dealers, installation centers and aircraft operators are legally entitled to recommend and use both products.

Sandel Avionics, located in Vista, California, is a privately held company that provides compact integrated display systems for general aviation, business aviation, air transport and regional aircraft. The company is in the process of developing a series of innovative new display applications.
