Bombardier Aerospace named Duncan
Aviation–Battle Creek as a Bombardier Challenger 604 aircraft
Authorized Service Facility (ASF) on May 18, 2005. Duncan
Aviation-Battle Creek joins the worldwide network of 12 Bombardier
Challenger ASFs in providing warranty work, engine and airframe
inspections and repairs, service bulletin installations,
“smart parts” administration, avionics updating and
troubleshooting for the Challenger fleet. Duncan Aviation-Battle
Creek will support current production Bombardier Challenger 604
aircraft as well as the Challenger 600 and Challenger 601
models.
"We are pleased that Duncan Aviation–Battle Creek was
named a Challenger ASF. I find it personally rewarding that as we
approach our fiftieth year as an independent, family-owned service
provider, we are continuing to expand our product lines with
Bombardier,” said Robert Duncan, Duncan Aviation Chairman.
“My father Donald began working with Bill Lear as an original
Learjet Dealer, and now our organization continues this
relationship by adding the Bombardier Challenger to our list of
factory authorizations.”
“Expanding our service, maintenance and customer support
network is a top priority at Bombardier,” said Dave Orcutt,
vice-president, customer support, Bombardier Business Aircraft.
“Duncan Aviation–Battle Creek is a natural fit to our
network and great choice to meet the needs of Bombardier Challenger
aircraft operators in the Upper Great Lakes region.”
Duncan Aviation-Battle Creek is an aircraft service provider
with a 260,000-square-foot facility and 480 employees supporting
the aviation needs of business jet operators worldwide. These
services include airframe and engine service, avionics
installations, interior and paint completions/modifications,
avionics/instrument and accessory/propeller repair/overhaul and
parts support.
Duncan Aviation operates a second major service center in
Lincoln, Neb.
