Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement With EVA Air

Four New Boeing 787-9s, Two New Boeing 787-10s To Be Added To Airline's Fleet

Air Lease Corporation announced long term lease agreements with EVA Air (Taiwan) for four new B787-9s and two new B787-10s.

These aircraft are from ALC’s Dreamliner order book with Boeing and will deliver from mid-2018 through early 2020. These placements will bring the number of new Boeing widebody aircraft that EVA Air will lease from ALC to ten, including four B777-300ERs already contracted.

“ALC is extremely pleased to conclude these important placements with EVA Air, one of the premier international airlines in Asia. EVA Air is a significant customer for ALC in the Asia Pacific region and these lease placements underline our commitment to EVA Air’s successful growth,” said Jie Chen, Air Lease Corporation’s Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Asia.
