FreeFlight Systems Promotion Intended To Boost ADS-B Equipage

Will Give Away One Unit, Installed, Along With An iPad Mini

FreeFlight Systems will be holding a “Wrangle A RANGR” promotion for U.S.-registered aircraft owners offering a grand prize of RANGR FDL-978-XVR ADS-B Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) at no charge, a $3,000 installation credit and an iPad Mini. The drawing also includes a second prize of a $399 iPad Mini or a third prize of a $249 Pebble Steele watch.

Approved for installation in most light General Aviation (GA) aircraft, the RANGR FDL-978-XVR provides full ADS-B Out rule compliance using existing Mode A/C or Mode S transponders. The system also receives ADS-B In FIS-B graphical weather, TIS-B traffic and other data for display on Multi-Function Displays (MFDs) supporting the industry-standard Capstone Protocol. Traffic data can be shown on Garmin GNS 400/500 series units and any display that complies with the ARINC 735B standard for Cockpit Display of Traffic Information (CDTI). The WiFi module also supports weather and traffic display on an Apple iPad. The RANGR FDL-978-XVR is the smallest, lightest and most affordable system available, is easy to install and is the first UAT certified for rotorcraft.

“Our “Wrangle A RANGR” promotion adds a fun, exciting and rewarding approach to equipping your aircraft for ADS-B ” said Tim Taylor, President and CEO of FreeFlight Systems. “It’s a great way for U.S. aircraft owners to learn more about their equipage options and maybe even take a giant step toward getting all of the benefits of NextGen as soon as possible.”
