Piper, Baymap Co-Sponsor Istanbul Flight Training Exhibition

Turkish Company Bullish On Flight Training Opportunities In That Country

Piper Aircraft and Baymap Aviation are co-sponsoring the Istanbul Flight Training Exhibition (IFTE), to be held Sept. 27-28, 2013, at the WOW Istanbul Convention Center, within walking distance of the international Atatürk Airport.

“The Istanbul Flight Training Exhibition is the biggest regional flight training venue in Turkey,” said Enrico Evers, Piper’s director of Sales for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). “Through the support of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, IFTE has become a venue where local and foreign participants can communicate and network. Piper is pleased to participate.”

“With steady growth in new pilots, aviation personnel, aircraft operators and general aviation aircraft over the past five years, Turkey is poised to take advantage of a largely free-market economy and interest in learning to fly,” said Baymap Aviation Piper Turkey CEO Oben Ogultarhan.

Baymap Aviation is the exclusive new aircraft dealer for the sale of Piper airplanes in Turkey. It provides pilot training, aircraft repair and maintenance, and aerial survey services in addition to aircraft sales activity in Turkey. Baymap is located in Ankara, Turkey.
