XVionics, a technology company providing software solutions for resource management in military aviation, says Adam Cohn has joined the company as Vice President of Research and Development. Cohn will be responsible for developing the company's overall technical strategy, finalizing the XVionics product roadmap and executing on all technical programs.

"Adam brings a deep expertise in avionics technology to his new role as Vice President of Research and Development at XVionics. His experience in software development, software engineering and program management, as well as in the defense industry, make him an excellent fit with the company," said XVionics CEO, Gene Colabatistto. "I am excited to be working with Cohn as the XVionics team continues to set the standard for aviation operations management systems around the world."

Prior to joining XVionics, Cohn held executive positions at several leading defense and software organizations. Cohn's experience includes work with TYBRIN Corporation in the Electronic Systems Center at Eglin Air Force Base, where he served as a project manager and technical lead for various parts of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) framework. Cohn also worked with Unlimited Data Solutions, a software development consulting agency, before his tenure in the defense industry.

Cohn received a bachelor's degree from the University of West Florida, where he graduated cum laude in 1994.

"I am very excited to join the XVionics team. The company has the potential to set a new standard for unit level command and control," said Cohn. "I look forward to contributing my expertise as we continue to deliver advanced software solutions and work with the leading aviation squadrons around the world."
