Duncan Aviation Appoints New Avionics And Instrument Manager

Brian Leffers To Assume The Role In Lincoln, NE

Duncan Aviation is pleased to name Brian Leffers as the new Avionics and Instrument Manager. In this position, Leffers will provide daily oversight and leadership to Duncan Aviation’s avionics and instruments repair facility located in Lincoln, NE, where nearly 100 technicians inspect, install, troubleshoot, service and repair virtually every type of equipment an aircraft might have, or need to have, aboard.

Leffers began his career at Duncan Aviation in 1994 as a Parts Runner, transitioning quickly through the ranks as a Technician, Team Leader, and Scheduler for the Interior Completions shop. In 1999, he was promoted to a Project Manager and for the last eight years has served as the Manager for the Avionics Installation Department.

“We’re excited to have Brian in this important position,” said Mark Cote, Vice President of Component Services and Avionics Satellite Operations. “His leadership style, career experience, along with the passion and energy he brings to building strong teams and a healthy department culture, will be critical as we continue to evolve our avionics and instrument service offerings.”

Leffers met his wife, Angie, an aircraft designer at the time, while working at Duncan Aviation. They have been married 14 years and together have two boys, 8-year-old Bryson and 6-year-old Barrett.
