Less Taxes, More Avgas
Aviation Tax
Consultants (ATC) announced recently that Daniel Cheung, CPA has
joined its consulting team. ATC has expertise that goes well beyond
traditional accounting services to benefit aircraft owners while
working within Federal Aviation Regulations.
"We feel very fortunate to have him on the team," said Fred
McCarter, Founder of ATC. "With the addition of Daniel to our
group, we can provide even better service for our clients. Buying
an aircraft offers many opportunities to make costly mistakes. Our
company helps aircraft buyers and owners avoid those pitfalls."
McCarter also added, "With the addition of Daniel as a partner
in the business, ATC offers the continuity and efficiency that our
clients and friends in the general aviation community will really
appreciate."
Cheung brings to ATC a wealth of aviation tax planning
experience. He has handled hundreds of aircraft acquisition
transactions involving general aviation aircraft, from owner-flown
single engine piston aircraft to corporate business jets. He has
also established great working relationships within the general
aviation community with business owners, pilots and aircraft sales
professionals.
Cheung graduated from the Indiana University School of Business
with a B.S. in accounting. He is a certified public accountant with
extensive tax planning and accounting experience. Born and raised
in Hong Kong, he has lived in Indiana since 1985 and now resides in
Fishers, Indiana with his wife and 2 sons.
Cheung is very excited to be a part of ATC. He said, "The
aviation tax consulting market is underserved, especially the
single engine piston market. I believe that ATC fills this niche
and provides a valuable service to the small business owners that
utilize piston aircraft in their business. The ever-changing
aviation tax regulations and Federal Aviation Regulations make it
impossible for general tax practitioners to keep up. There is
certainly a need for aviation tax specialists in the marketplace
and I am excited to serve the general aviation community with my
expertise."
Aviation Tax Consultants focuses exclusively on providing
consulting services designed to maximize income tax savings and
minimize sales and use tax for aircraft operators. Its
professionals are committed to developing a thorough understanding
of its clients' business objectives and operations, and to
delivering all of its services in a timely, responsive and
professional manner.
