AeroSports Update: Midwest LSA Expo

In The Market For A New Or Used Light Aircraft?

According to their press release, the Midwest LSA Expo is “The Place to be for Light Aviation This Fall.” They say you’ll see over 40 Light Sport Aircraft, as well as FAR Part 103 ultralights, airplanes equipped and designed specifically for short takeoff and landing, and Gyroplanes all in one place that has an easily accessible and demo-friendly flightline.

The event takes place on September 8th through the 10th at the Mount Vernon Outland Airport, located in Mount Vernon, IL. It gives those in recreational aviation the chance to take a look at what light sport has to offer in a location that is centralized.

You will be able to shop for the latest in aviation gadgets in the Wicks Aircraft & Motorsports Terminal Lobby. And, they say there will also be many informative seminars/forums presented by the best in the industry.

Not only will you see new aircraft on display, you can also Visit the Aircraft Sales Lot. As the Expo continues to provide a venue for the new, the Aircraft Sales Lot will allow sellers of used aircraft the same ability for maximum exposure. The Expo reports that the Aircraft Sales Lot is professionally managed by aircraft brokers providing industry insight and recommendations.

And while you’re there, you can visit the Jefferson County Hall of Honor and Colonel R.D. White Veterans Museum located inside the Koziara Terminal. View over 500 individual “Tributes” lining the halls, along with weaponry, uniforms, and an authentic 1941 U.S. Army Indian Motorcycle.
