Also: 2021 FAA UAS Symposium, Mid-Continent CHRONOS, TSA Rule Extensions, Rise Aviation

Pilatus has delivered the 1800th example of the PC-12. At 82 deliveries, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association's 2020 Year-End Aircraft Shipment Report, the Pilatus PC-12 was reportedly the most popular model of all turbine-powered business aircraft.

Pilatus delivered the 1800th production unit at the end of April. PC-12 NGX serial number 2070 was delivered to Alán Aguirre, owner of Divine Flavor LLC, a family-run and grower-owned distribution company based in Nogales, Arizona, with greenhouses and vineyards throughout Mexico. Piper Aircraft has been awarded approval from EASA for its M600/SLS HALO safety system with Autoland. Piper plans a robust European M600/SLS demo tour, visiting all Piper dealer partners as well as key markets later this summer. To date, the M600 SLS has flown more than 100 autoland demos. These demonstrations played a key role in delivering 67 autoland-equipped aircraft in the U.S. market already. Women in Aviation International (WAI) members and friends will honor the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) by visiting their graves and leaving an appropriate decoration in the form of flowers or other remembrances. In its fourth year, the #HonorTheWASP program was originally envisioned to take place over the Memorial Day weekend each year. In an effort to allow participants to observe best social-distancing practices, WAI encourages participants to visit gravesites over the entire month of May as opposed to just on Monday, May 31st, Memorial Day. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
