Gallup Med Flight Reaccredited By Leading Industry Commission

Accreditation Approved Through March 2021

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) has reaccredited Gallup Med Flight, a Guardian Flight air medical transport operation serving the Four Corners area of Arizona and New Mexico. The CAMTS reaccreditation is approved through March 2021.

"Accreditation by CAMTS is the gold-standard seal of approval in our industry," said Fred Buttrell, Guardian Flight President and President and CEO of Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), which is Guardian Flight's parent company.

"This recognition is testimony to the expertise that Gallup Air Med demonstrates daily and the hard work and professionalism of every employee to become the very best at their positions of awesome responsibility in transporting and caring for patients in northern New Mexico and Arizona," he added.

Gallup Med Flight and its predecessor organizations have been providing air medical transport to Gallup and the surrounding areas for more than 30 years. It is committed to clinical excellence, long term relationships and a culture of safety that promotes the highest quality of care.

Gallup Med Flight uses fixed wing and a rotor wing aircraft, including Beech King Air C90B and Pilatus PC-12 airplanes and an Airbus AS350B3e helicopter. The operation flies thousands of patients annually.

To achieve accreditation by CAMTS, medical transport programs must adhere to CAMTS' rigorous patient care and safety of transport standards, developed and continually improved by a board of highly skilled and experienced medical and medical transportation professionals. Adherence to these standards, which are above and beyond regulatory requirements, assures program compliance to remain accredited by CAMTS.
