RA4500 Radar Altimeter Selected For L-39NG Trainer

The First L-39NG Prototype Was Rolled Out In Odolena Voda On 12 October 2018

AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE has selected the RA4500 to equip its fleet of military trainer and light combat L-39NG aircraft.

"We have worked hard to create a Radar Altimeter system that provides the most accurate AG information and pilot control for operational safety," commented Tim Taylor, CEO & President.

"The AERO Vodochody L-39NG is an outstanding military aircraft that is intended to provide enhanced flight training capabilities and we look forward to working with AERO to ensure optimal support of these units."

The first L-39NG prototype was rolled out in Odolena Voda on 12 October 2018, and conducted its maiden flight on the 22nd of December, 2018.

AERO Vodochody, one of the oldest aerospace companies worldwide, focuses on the design, manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul, and upgrading of military and civil aircraft. Its L-39NG (next generation) aircraft continues the tradition of the L-39 Albatros training aircraft (one of the first military aircraft), certified to the new supranational military standards (EMAR 21 and EMACC) and has also received certification and recognition by the EU and NATO military authorities.
