National Naval Aviation Museum Wrapping Blue Angels Winter Promotion

Special Package Of Attractions At The Pensacola, FL Facility

The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida is welcoming locals and tourists alike travelling to the museum grounds for the Blue Angels Winter Special during its last two weeks before commencement.

The National Naval Aviation Museum, located in the northwestern coastal region of Pensacola, Florida, counts down the final days of offering the Blue Angels Winter Special. The special package includes a ticket to the Blue Angel themed attractions located at the Museum including the Blue Angels 4D Experience, a ride with the Blues in a motion-based flight simulator, a souvenir travel mug with coffee, and one IMAX movie ticket to see “The Magic of Flight” featuring the Blue Angels. The museum launched the promotion on January 1st and will continue to offer the special winter package, valued at over $31, for only $25 per person through the 1st of March.

The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is the largest Naval Aviation museum in the world, as well as one of the most-visited museums in the entire state of Florida. As a source of pride for local Pensacola residents and military families in the area, the museum showcases the rich history of U.S. Naval Aviation including more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft belonging to the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard branches of the military. The museum includes nearly 350,000 square feet of exhibit space inside the impressive facility, which resides on the 37-acres of land aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida.

Visitors can tour the historic, one-of-a-kind aircraft displayed in the museum from 9am to 5pm on any day of the week. Daily admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to enjoy the numerous attractions, souvenirs, and lunch offered inside of the museum, which includes shows at the impressive IMAX Naval Aviation Memorial Theater. Visitors can spend the entire day at the museum with more than 150 aircraft and over 50 exhibits to see, different shows playing every hour at the IMAX Theatre, HD Motion-Based Flight Simulators, and the Blue Angels X4D Experience. On most Tuesdays and Wednesdays from late-March to early- November, visitors are also able to watch the world-famous Blue Angels practice over the museum and get autographs from the highly-skilled team.

The Blue Angels X4D Experience is the museum’s newest attraction, providing visitors with the chance to experience exciting, action-packed aerial maneuvers with the Blue Angels. Afterwards, participants can jump on one of the motion based flight simulators at the museum for a multi-sensory ride that combines audiovisual stimulation and surround-sound with the multi-directional movement of the fully-enclosed simulator capsule. The Blue Angels Winter Special also includes one IMAX movie ticket, a travel mug with a complimentary coffee from the Cubi Bar Café with the purchase of any meal, and a personalized dog tag.

The Blue Angels Winter Special has attracted crowds of visitors throughout the past weeks, offering a course of the museum’s featured attractions for less than 80% of the normal cost. With only a week and a half left of this exciting, limited-time offer, the National Naval Aviation Museum expects to see an influx of visitors coming to experience the unique opportunity to simulate flight while experiencing a historical account of U.S. Naval Aviation.
