E-I-C Note:Many of the ANN Team members are still in Oshkosh as you read this, while some are working their way home, a few more are (hopefully) sound asleep, and one or two others are simply trying to remember their names. That being the case, and for those who were AT Oshkosh and may not have had a chance to watch Airborne each day, we're going to re-cast the last week of the Airborne at Oshkosh 2015 each day this coming week... and cop some serious needed ZZZZs, in the interim. We'll present a normal news schedule all week and offer a up a few new Aero-TV episodes, to boot, later on... but for the next day or two, we're simply going to bed. To sleep... perchance to dream -- of Oshkosh 2016. -- Jim Campbell, ANN E-I-C/CEO

At the new Aviation gateway park, a UAV was supposed to have brought in the ceremonial scissors for a ribbon cutting opening the new area to the public, but the wind did not allow that to happen, so they came in in a more normal way … carried in a bucket. Piper CEO Simon Caldecott said there was a specific reason Piper wanted to sponsor the park. L-3 Avionics Systems introduced their Genesys
Next Generation of Electronic Standby Instrument Systems Monday here at AirVenture.
