Kansas City Aviation Center Latest Sales, Service Center
Diamond Aircraft told ANN Wednesday of the appointment of a new
distributor. Kansas City Aviation Center (KCAC) has joined the
Diamond network as the distributor for a key portion of the US
Midwest.
KCAC, based at the Johnson County Airport (OJC), is a full
service general aviation center that also offers new and used
aircraft sales, maintenance, avionics, charter, aircraft
management, parts and flight training.
"We are very excited about this appointment by Diamond because
we are able to represent the most exciting, complete lineup of
aircraft to our customer base," said Angelo Fiataruolo,
General Manager of KCAC. "Diamond Aircraft has the reputation as
one of the best in the business, from its composite airframe to its
fuel efficiency and handling, and it has the best safety record in
the industry."
"Diamond Aircraft is excited to be working with KCAC. We believe
KCAC's reputation for excellence in aircraft sales and customer
service make us a good match to bring more Diamond aircraft to this
territory, and to ensure outstanding support to our customers,"
says Heike Larson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at
Diamond. "With our company's fast growth -- a 33% increase in
deliveries in 2006 vs. 2005, and two new products, the DA50 Super
Star and the D-Jet in the works - we are investing in
strengthening our sales and marketing network."
The appointment of KCAC is but the
latest change to Diamond's sales team. The London, Ontario-based
planemaker also expanded the territories of several existing
distributors recently. USAERO, based in Denver, has taken on the
Arizona territory, with a dedicated sales person based in the
Scottsdale area. Galvin Flying Services in Seattle has recently
been awarded Alaska and Hawaii as an addition to their territory,
and has already placed four Diamond aircraft into a flight training
program in Hawaii. A&M Aircraft Sales in Chicago has taken over
the state of Michigan.
"Our distributors are one of our biggest assets. Their local
knowledge, and the strength of their relationships with our joint
customers, help us provide excellent support to our Diamond owners
in the field," said Larson. "They are also crucial in our recently
announced Diamond Flight Center program, where they will partner
with Diamond and local flight schools to bring the most complete
fleet of modern aircraft to pilots everywhere."
