Expands 'Paperless Maintenance' To Include Automated
Communication, Data Exchange With Aircraft Owners
AvConnect announced Monday their official partnership with
DatcoMedia ... combining their technologies to connect service
centers and maintenance departments directly to their customers via
advanced online and mobile applications.
Since 1999, EBis has set the standard for the paperless
maintenance software system, and now powers some of the largest
aircraft companies. AvConnect's technology provides a direct online
connection from the pilot, owner/operator, and/or fleet manager to
their service center, and tracks detailed aircraft records. EBis
customers now have the ability to view and track entire maintenance
histories, send and receive service requests, work orders, and
invoices, directly through a customer's AvConnect account. Better
yet, they can do it right from their iPhone or iPad.
"AvConnect serves as the 'technology nucleus' if you will for
general aviation owners. By implementing our direct-connect
capabilities with the EBis system, we're delivering to our
customers the most efficient means by which to manage their
aircraft, and serving as the communication and data hub for the
entire team it takes to take care of that aircraft," stated Erik
Murrey, CEO of AvFusion, Inc.
Michael Lentini, President of Sales and Marketing at DatcoMedia,
also added, "We're excited about our two platforms coming together
to create a truly automated experience for both the service centers
and the end customer. With AvConnect's online system, EBis users
can add yet another level of streamlined customer service to their
shops. Not only can they send and receive most documents
electronically, but they can now be even more proactive in
scheduling maintenance and staying on top of each aircraft's
maintenance needs and history by accessing their customers accounts
through AvConnect."
